This is what we were left with (excuse the mess – we needed a tidy up!)
Subframe revealed
We spent some time power washing and scrubbing off 20 years of grime.
Tip: power wash under the car before you start stripping it! Makes life a lot more pleasant and stops face fulls of dirt!
We brushed on some Hammerite Kurust to kill the rust on the exposed metal in readiness for painting.
Not a lot more to say here, apart from now is the time to replace stuff. Bushes, cambelt, clutch etc.
